I take documentary style pictures. My style may not be for everyone. I don’t do very many traditional style poses and say “cheese” type pictures. I don’t expect nor do I want your child to smile in every image I capture. I want you to wear what you are comfortable in, what best shows how you are on an everyday basis. Dad’s don’t like dressing up– and believe me, you want them to be comfortable.
I prefer natural lighting and love outdoor pictures. I think kids (and adults) look and feel their best when they are outside.
I take the time to get to know each child and family. I have young children and a baby (and a cranky about pictures husband), so I bring lots of patience, understanding, and a TON of energy to each session.
You will probably see me laying in the dirt and hanging off monkey bars at our session together. Do not be alarmed. 
Before our session I will want to know what makes your child happy or alarms them. What things about your family that you love. I want to know if you love their dimples, their crazy laugh, or the little freckle on their pinkie. I want to capture the things you love about each person in your family.
